A new, fresh approach in Celtic music concerts. Five performers with very distinctive voices and vocal styles sometimes come together for spot-on harmonies (including a-capella) or do solo performances, which can include a bit of acting.
Their music go from covers of well-known songs (s.a. 'Nights in White Satin' or 'Mull of Kintyre') to traditional Irish classics, to self-penned material.
I recommend it to those who like fusion style music or an eccletic, but harmonious collection of styles in one concert.

My wife and I have throughly enjoyed this DVD. There is not a bad song on the entired DVD. These five male voculist are truly talented. Our bigest fear is that we will wear it out from playing it so much. Great buy and a great DVD.
Description of Celtic Thunder The Show [DVD]
For Celtic Thunder, Sharon Browne has teamed up with Grammy-nominated Irish songwriting and composing veteran Phil Coulter to produce a show that includes an eclectic mix of songs ranging from the traditional "Mountains of Mourne" and "Come By the Hills" to international hits such as "Brothers in Arms" and "Desperado," as well as original compositions by Coulter, who has written hits for Elvis Presley ("My Boy") and the Bay City Rollers, and performed with Van Morrison, Tom Jones, and the Rolling Stones. The ensemble numbers in Celtic Thunder reflect the power of the vocalists, who range in age from 14 to 40, and feature songs that celebrate a common Celtic heritage.International Music CDs
