DVD Review: barbie dolls

I enjoy doing the low impact exercises but my first thought was that the participants looked 'very plastic'& identical. I don't mean to be cruel & the ladies were lovely but perfect hair & makeup is just not what I picture when doing a workout...even the smiles were fixed & frozen. The original "10 years younger" video participants showed more emotions.
Just my opinion...

Why is this DVD not rated 5 star by everybody? It's so great! I, too, started off with Callan Pinckney way back when she put out her first video, and loved it then. Over the years, with a bad back which I did not know how to care for, her SuperCallanetics got to be painful and I was too proud to fall back to the lower levels, so took up other exercise programs, including yoga, tai chi, Lotte Berk Method, Pilates...
When I saw this new DVD was out, I really wanted to try it, but some of the negative reviews put me off. But now I have given it a thorough try, I'm converted! Especially nice is the menu. There are still parts that are too hard on my back, but a physical therapist convinced me that it's OK to just leave out anything that hurts. Wow, who'da thunk?
Anyway, if you are looking for something really varied, with lots of cueing for different levels of ability, really and truly "something for everyone," this gets my top recommendation.
Oh. One quibble. The teacher and the students smile too much. It's perfectly possible to look as if you are enjoying something without a huge plastic grin. Why did they do it?
And, one more thing - I'm OLD! 68. My spine is fused almost top to bottom, I'm riddled with arthritis. So, no excuses or whining. This program has tightened my tummy, underarms (a true disaster area) inner thighs and behind so I look, well, a year or two younger. With more work, I'm sure I'll begin to look even better!

I have been using the callanetics 10/10 and bought this for something different. It is a great progarm, but I miss the setting of the exercises by Callan. Infact I can say that Callan is a great teacher, Sandra is good but she is does not really teach, the program is demonstrated by 3 ladies showing different levels. I will suggest that a person not familair with callanetics start with the 10/10.DVD Review: Boring
