I've been doing Callanetics for 20 years now. When VHS went out of vogue I waited and waited for this to be on DVD. The music, outfits, cast and backgrounds are all dated but the fantastic results you'll obtain remain. I would suggest this program to anyone wanting to tone their body without having to sweat at the gym. DVD Review: Slimmer hips guaranteed :)

WOW!!! I really can't say enough about the Callanetics program. I have exercised daily for many years (mostly running and weight training) and I've never experienced results as fast as I have with this program! I decided to try it out after reading so many outstanding reviews here on Amazon.
I have always struggled with slimming down my hips. I've never been able to effectively reduce in this area, despite all of the exercises that I have tried (Tae Bo, Turbo Jam, etc). And let's be honest, no amount of squats and lunges will even begin to touch the hips and hamstrings, two of the most hardest to tone areas on a woman's body. I did Callanetics for ten days straight and begin to see visible results after a week. I broke out my tape measure and sure enough, I lost 1.5 inches in my waist, .5 in. in my hips and 3/4 in. in each thigh..this is in ten days!!
This is a low-impact program, however, that doesn't mean that it isn't tough! The leg and hip exercises alone (OUCH!) are worth the price of the DVD. It is strangely energizing and relaxing at the same time. I love all of the stretches, too. I yawned about 10X after the first session because I was so relaxed :) This program works extremely fast. You WILL see results.

I love this Video! I've used it before, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to get in shape. It's not a cardio-intensive tape, which is nice if you're not into that kind of thing. This work out is exactly the same as the one that was originally produced on VHS.
