DVD Review: I'm Scarred from watching this garbage

I don't normally write reviews, but after watching this trash, I was COMPELLED to hop on here and spout.
First, I didn't expect a whole heck of a lot from CZW. I've read reviews of the promotion's other DVD releases, as well as reviews from shows put on over the years. I was familiar with their "ultraviolent" "wrestling" style and certain wrestlers (Sick Nick Mondo has wrestled for a promotion here in St. Paul, MN several times). For the most part, I knew what I was getting into. Also, I will preface this by saying I am in fact a fan of ECW, I do not live in a trailor park, and I have all my teeth.
It amazes me how many people have given this five stars. Jerry Lawler once exclaimed that ECW was "violent crap." If ECW, which at one point touted technical-wrestling geniuses Chris Benoit, Eddy Guerrero, and Dean Malenko, was violent crap, it pales in comparison to the ultraviolent crap CZW puts out. Not once in this entire DVD was there a move even REMOTELY resembling a wrestling move. Sick Nick Mondo can at times put on a decent wrestling match, but not once on this DVD was there anything close to wrestling. Literally, it was grown men hitting each other with light tubes, scraping each other (with the obligatory camera close up detailing each little poke, scrape, and tear of the flesh) with barbed wire, and even whacking each other with weed whackers. YES, weed whackers. In fact, the weed whacker may actually be drammatic if Wifebeater (a wrestler named Wifebeater....how clever) wasn't standing at the ropes, flexing his abdomen, while his opponent started the weed whacker, showed it to the audience, and then FINALLY whacked his midsection.
As far as I could surmise, CZW does have decent wrestlers as the opening introduction video alluded to. The clips of guys taking sick bumps from tops of scaffolding, trailors, and even semi trucks onto the concrete, show that CZW can put on exciting matches. These aren't it. Even more annoying than the featured matches (of which nearly each involves CZW owner, John Zandig...go figure) are the special features. 3 or 4 extra matches are included, not in their entirety, but as a selection of between 7 and 11 clips of during the match. I have no doubt that the extra matches are similar to the featured matches (again...nearly ALL including CZW owner John Zandig) but to flip through 10 clips for each match is not only tedious, it is BORING too.
The production level of the DVD is surprisingly decent considering the source. CZW is a 5th-rate promotion out of the East Coast, but the DVD doesn't necessarily reflect that. Zandig did a decent job producing this, despite my earlier comments about the special features. Multiple camera angles are offered on the special features clips, which is actually quite refreshing. Also, the music video montage featuring clips of some serious bumps during the promotion's history was incredible. It too was very well done, even if the theme music was cheesey ("Breakin' the law....once again.....C...Z...W!!!") and poorly performed.
Despite my disgust with this DVD, I will give CZW another chance to "wow" me based solely on the video montage at the beginning of the DVD. I can only assume that it can only get better....right?
