My husband is a huge Audie Murphy fan and watches his movies continuously (like to drive me crazy sometimes!). He had a lot of knowlegde of Mr. Murphy of both his movie and military career and so I thought this would be a great gift to add to his collection. The movie is based mostly on Mr. Murphys courageous military career. He loved it. Im certain we will watch it over and over again!:-) :-(DVD Review: Interesting but brief

Every American should read this, and understand the love our guys felt for each other. Audie Murphy had more guts than any man that lived, and is also a realist that isn't afraid to tell us just what he thinks of America, for better or worse. A real class act. If anyone alive ever deserved the Congressional Medal of Honor, this kid did. We can also thank this man for addressing the real issues surrounding PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), and convincing the medical profession that it is a real disease and not something someone just "gets over" in time. God Bless his soul.
