DVD Review: Disappointed, & missed opportunity!

I have enjoyed viewing and listening to such a charismatic violinist, choreographer and director for some time now.
I believe that me and my family has been enjoying his performances because of his ability to perform classical and world music in a very charismatic and colorful way. Also, most of his concerts on DVD have been great to watch on TV; especially if you have Dolby Digital surround, this is the best way to enjoy these videos; it's almost like being there.
However here is were this DVD title fails. Cramming almost three hours of video and sound in a single sided disc caused the video image quality to be horrible. (It should have been splitted in two discs).
It appears to be OK at first, but if you notice it would appear with noise and a lot of pixelation (image squares). This becomes more evident if you have HDTV or movie projector, then pixels become more apparent.
The sound levels (crowed clapping) are too loud for the rear surround speakers compared to the front and center speaker; they just don't match. And the bonus tracks are even worst; these are really horrible to watch. Another bad thing is there are songs that just don't match with the music stile, theme, and musical talent of these performers; songs like "Old MacDonald" (king of silly), "In the Saloon", and "We are the Champions". He also tends to repeat song themes played in other DVDs like "Irish Washerwoman", "The last Rose", "Triumphant March", "Light Cavalry". He could have played one of hundreds of other beautiful songs that exist around the world. ! And yes there are no English subtitles! What's up with that!
But don't get me wrong, him and his orchestra are great performers to watch.
I would suggest his other titles like "Tuscany" which in my view is his best (my rating is five stars). Romantic songs, spectacular scenery, great 5.1 Dolby sound and the Wide Screen image is very clean and sharp. His violin performance shows how wonderful player he really is.
Also "Live from Dublin" is a great DVD to watch.
