DVD Review: Wish I Could Have Been There!

What an experience it must have been to witness this performance in person. Andy William's stage presence and the addition of the London Symphony Orchestra made this DVD outstanding. Mr. Williams covers a wide range of material here and does it with ease. The interview segments between chapters were nice and allow the viewer to gain some little nuggets of personal information and trivia. I was amazed when he stated that early in his career he did not like performing! I'm certainly glad he had a change of heart.
The DVD appears to be composed of two different performances, but I'm not sure. The second performance actually appears like it should have been the first, but it may have just been an editing snafu.
The DVD quality does leave much to be desired. The video is VHS quality and the audio is a little scratchy at times, but with the price and number of songs included here I don't think anyone would complain too much.
Definately glad I made the purchase and Amazon delivered quickly as usual. I don't think anyone would be sorry to add this performance to their collection.
