DVD Review: misleading title

"Americas Favorite Cars - Mustang 40th Anniversary (2004)" is a very misleading title. The DVD cover states: "The Complete Mustang 40th Anniversary". Sounds exciting, doesn't it?. Well, instead, they should label it "Mustang 25th anniversary (1991)". Unlike the book "THE COMPLETE MUSTANG" by Mike Mueller, which includes the new 2005, the DVD shows only the first 25 years, not 40. It is just a transfer to DVD from a video made to celebrate the 25th Anniversary. Also it becomes tiresome because is a documentary without much dynamic. It does have some very interesting footage and facts. But some of the footage is not that good even for the year it was filmed (these segments look fussy on my big screen). Only the awesome Mustang and its history save this DVD from being a total waste. I guess the price is OK for this now (under $4.00), but it is falsely advertised. At this time (Dec, 2004) there are not many DVDs on Mustangs, so I will keep it and wait for something better, an entire coverage, maybe for the 50th anniversary... Classics are great, but so are the modern ones.
