DVD Review: Potty Mouth Little Brats...

Okay- I was a teenager once too, and I understand the youth's need to be cool- but not at he expense of MY daughter. This video would have been fine without all the bad words and the middle finger solutes! They complete ruined what could have been a really cool skater movie specifically for girls. What a shame. All this movie will do is breed in your daughter disrespect for authority and a premature desire to grow-up too quickly! Don't waste your money!!!DVD Review: I'm more inspired to skate than ever!

I love this DVD!! It's just the greatest documentary, about 4 young, talented (to say the least) girl skateboarders. I mean, these girls kick some major butt! And they are hilarious to listen to. The first time I watched it, I was at least smiling for the entire time. The actual documentary runs for about 23 min, but the rest of the time making up the 75 min. is all in the special features/extras. The extras even include how to do tricks, like the ollie, kick flip, 360 flip, and more! It's helpful. It has way more extras than that too.
But yes, definately buy this! It made me more inspired to skate. There needs to be more girls in the industry, and I am helping!
Girls: learn to skateboard. I would at least try it. You never know, you may be a natural.
I would also recommend the book Skater Girl, by Patty Segovia Rebecca Heller.

This is a great and interesting dvd that focuses on girl skateboarding and even though skateboarding is still male dominated that doesn't mean girls can't shred either! You'll see great moves busted out by 4 members of the gallaz skate team: Vanessa Torres-at 17 is the #1 female skater in the world and first female to win gold at the first womens x-games and has only been skating for 4 years now, 2001 world champion #1, female skater of the year
Jaime Reyes-a female skate legend whos skated for over a decade now and was the first female on the cover of skate bible thrasher
Monica Shaw-an Austrailian skate champion
Amy Caron-a gallaz skate jam winner in feberary 2002, 2001 world champion #2
