A real treat for Frost fans, and would-be Frost fans. The stories zip with plenty of twists in the plot and unexpected endings that you realize you should have seen coming. David Jason is of course superb, but so are the complete cast. Although it is one of a series, and of course I recommend the entire series, the stories are stand-alone so it does not matter if you see them out of order.DVD Review: Inspector Frost is even better aged.

Inspector Frost is a proven winner in Seasons 9 and 10. His immediate bureaucratic supervisor and detail man Mr. Mullet is an effective counter balance to Frost's bull dog determination and full speed ahead intensity. Season 9
Mistaken Identity, Parts 1 and 2
Jack's got a new love interest. A body with no identification is found in a local reservoir. The investigation of a brutal murder of a couple leads to a worker in their home.
Season 10
Hidden Truth - Jack misplaces his winning lottery ticket. A murder witness is holed up in secrecy until a hit-man hired to eliminate her finds the safe house. Frost is determined to expose a traitor among the ranks.
Close Encounters - Did aliens kill a security guard at Denton Quarry? With newborn in tow, Detective Sergeant Hazel Wallace helps Frost investigate a string of burglaries. The father of a missing child gives police an unconvincing alibi.
