Having seen the "911 Mysteries:Part 1 Demolitions," I thought my eyes couldn't widen further. I was wong.This documentary, "9/11 Press
For Truth," increases your governmental anger monumentally by exposing near its conclusion the money trail from the White House to Pakistan to our "enemies" and Bin Laden, who miraculously gets air-lifted time and again to safety. No warnings? 228 notifications prior. Imagine Lincoln providing trains for Lee's escape at every encounter. Imagine a government taking its intelligence seriously spending $100 million on Bill Clinton's peccadilloes and only $2 million on the largest catastrophe on our shores.What curiosity and amateur sleuthing in "Press For Truth" is remarkable beyond belief. How much additional facts does a public need to mount the ramparts?See the bogus commissioners chery-picked. Hear how the average citizen is treated by our unconcerned representatives.These 911 widows deserve the highest patriot award for their diggings. Not only do they get lied to and deceived at every turn, but a handful of veteran warrior journalists (Hersh etc.)deserve praise for their dismissed efforts to the large scale of this governmental puzzle. This proves beyond the pulverized cloud that the checks and balances ended that day and what remains as the constitutional bone yard dog is a chichuahua.Do not watch after a heavy meal.

After seeing this, and especially "911 In Plain Sight" and then "911 Myth and Reality" about this terrible event, I am very saddened.
This is a DVD we all should see.
DVD Review: NOT CONVINCING

I am wondering what the 4 women who initiated a so-called deeper look into the 9/11 tragedy really wanted. Near the end of the DVD two of the ladies say that if certain information had been made available there husbands might not have died. But hijackings and bombings of buildings have been around for a long time -- way before G.W. Therefore, we all know that when we board a plane or walk in through the doors of a building that something terrible could happen. We know that terrorist cells can be in America by virtue of the fact that such cells have, prior to 9/11, carried out attacks within the U.S. (and that was under Clinton's watch). Nothing in this video -- and I mean nothing -- convinced me of some malicious conspiratorial coverup by Pres. Bush, Vice Pres. Cheney, or NSA Rice. So many liberal policies have been put in place in this country that certain actions make a person legally liable if he pursues it. Take for example the fact that racial profiling is against liberal policy. Of course, Bush and Cheney were aware of threats, but even the PDB paper that is mentioned in this DVD does not state anything definite beyond the fact that a threat existed. But a threat always exists in a country with open borders. We are living in a country where foreign students obtain visas, and then those visas are let to expire without anything being done. This is all the result of politics and liberal policies. Liberals and those politicians who are cowed by them want open borders and free access to this country. The 9/11 highjackers came in under liberal's policies. If Bush had suspected (and there is no indication that he did) those 19 men and done something about it before obtaining proof the terrorists would have sued, the liberal media would have used it as an example of Conservative insensitivity. Suffice it to say this video and the timeline that is made such a big deal of proves nothing. I do question the integrity of the 4 women. Supposedly 2 of the 4 had voted for Bush, 1 was an independent, and 1 was a democrat. Perhaps that is true; I just find it interesting that within a little group of 4 northeastern women 50% of them had been Bush supporters. That is not the percentage which we find reflected from their area of the country. DVD Review: Single best film on 9/11

No single film can or does cover every issue;books are better at covering all of the details anyhow. That being said, "9/11: Press For Truth" is, in my opinion the single "best" film on 9/11.

DVD Review: A good start-show it to your friends and family

This is an excellent documentary for it's focus on hard research. It exposes the 911 cover up in a reserved, hard research type approach. It focuses on the struggle that victims families went through to even have an investigation done! (911 Commission Report), then explores the fact that the mechanics of the events of that day point to government complicity, then exposes some of the money trails leading to Pakistan. Someone said it merely scratches the surface, and it does. It is not the most complete documentary out there as far as exposing the government's true involvement, but It is a gentle introduction that is a good for those who are wary of "theories".
So, see this movie, get mad, then go to something like Loose Change, Unanswered Questions, The Great Conspiracy with Barry Zwicker.

Although independent investigations began within weeks of both Pearl Harbor and the Kennedy assassination, the same was not true of the attacks of September 11th. Most are unaware that formation of the 9/11 Commission was strongly opposed by many in Washington, including the Bush administration. It was only due to pressure from the 9/11 families, led by a particular twelve calling themselves the Family Steering Committee, that, fourteen months after the attacks, the first hearing finally began. These twelve remained active in monitoring the Commission's investigation, providing a list of hundreds of specific, well-researched questions to the Commissioners. In the end, the 9/11 Commission Final Report failed to answer seventy percent of them.
In 9/11 PRESS FOR TRUTH, five of the most prominent members of the Family Steering Committee, including interviews with three of the "Jersey Girls," tell their story for the first time, providing the most powerful argument yet for why 9/11 still needs investigation. Adapting Paul Thompson's definitive Complete 9/11 Timeline (published by Harper-Collins as The Terror Timeline), the filmmakers stitch together rare, overlooked news clips, buried stories, and government press conferences, revealing a pattern of official lies, deception, and spin.
The political becomes personal in 9/11: Press for Truth, which examines the World Trade Center attacks from the perspective of the families who lost loved ones. Written and directed by Ray Nowosielski, the documentary draws partly from Paul Thompson's website-turned-book, The Terror Timeline, and much of the commentary comes from Lorie Van Auken, Patty Casazza, and Mindy Kleinberg, three of the "Jersey Girls." Along with Kristen Breitweiser, the 9/11 widows have become activists in its wake. As Casazza says, "We all had questions...and wanted answers." The primary one was: How could this happen? Interestingly, two of the women voted for Bush. Casazza adds, "Even though he should have been our biggest advocate, he turned into one of our biggest adversaries." Together with eight other spouses, parents, etc., they form the Family Steering Committee and lobby for an independent commission, which comes to pass, but fails to deliver the goods. The widows find more useful information in Thompson's timeline, which he compiled using material in the public domain (Thompson also appears in the film). The style of 9/11: Press for Truth couldn't be more conventional--talking heads, television footage, omniscient narrator, relentless score--but the personal approach makes it a valuable addition to the rapidly-growing list of 9/11 documentaries. The point is, to quote Patti Smith, "people have the power"--people like the Jersey Girls, Paul Thompson, and all the other ordinary citizens who have kept pressure on our elected officials and the news media to dig deeper and work harder. --Kathleen C.
