DVD Review: Suddenly, Seymour Summary: 5 StarsThere are lots of good musicals out there, but the best one is the one and only ''Little Shop of Horrors.''The plot summary:In the gloomy and heartless Skid Row, a nerdy florist clerk named Seymour(Rick Moranis),discoveres a new breed of plant life which he names Audrey II(Voiced by Levi Stubbs).Seymour names Audrey II after his secret love, Audrey(Ellen Greene).But, Audrey is dating the sadistic, creppy dentist, Orin Scrivello(Sorry, D.D.S.),(Steve Martin).Now, Audrey II brings fame and fortune to the flower shop, which makes Seymour's boss, the cantankerous, groucy old Mr.Musnik(Vincent Gardenia)happy.But, soon enough, Seymour discovers that Audrey II can talk, and she craves for blood.But she doesn't just want any blood.She wants human blood.So Seymour sets out to find victams that deserve to be plant food(Mr.Musnik and Orin), so he can keep the sucess and finally get Audrey's love.Very good songs(My favorites Suddenly Seymour, Dentist!,Feed Me(Git It),and Mean Green Mother From Outer Space).If you like musicals and comedies,watch this zany and crazily wonderful movie.

DVD Review: Classic Horror Musical Summary: 4 StarsThis fun, upbeat musical of a dark comedy was mostly the way I remembered it, except for the profanity. If I could edit out those parts it would be perfect!
DVD Review: 3D Little Shop of Horrors (2-D & 3-D Included) Summary: 1 Stars DO NOT buy this movie if you want to watch it in 3-D. one it doesnt come with glasses. which is ok for me as i own 2 different kind of glasses. the blue/red ones and the clear/grey ones. both those kinds DO NOT WORK! i guess you have to buy some 3-D special thing and special glasses to watch it in 3-D which i think runs like 100 dollars but not sure. so DO NOT BUY if you want to watch the 3-D version. what a joke they should post that you need to buy stuff to watch. glasses easy to get but to but special equiptment should be stated in the info as i would not have bought this knowing i could not watch in 3-D -_-;
Description of 3D Little Shop of Horrors (2-D & 3-D Included)2D and 3D Versions Included A true cult classic in 3D! This film contains murder and mayhem when Seymour, a flower shop employee, realizes he is growing a blood thirsty, man-eating plant. In order to keep his beloved plant alive, Seymour is forced to kill to feed his plant's hunger. Soon our friendly man-eating plant is out of control and somebody needs to stop him! Watch this deadly plant fight for its life in 3D! Hilarious, cheapie black comedy from 1960 that may be the best film by B-picture master Roger Corman, other than Bucket of Blood, made about the same time with the same writer, Charles Griffith. Seymour (Jonathan Haze) is an assistant in a skid-row flower shop who's on the point of losing his job when the unusual plant he's developed turns the store into a major attraction. The only problem is that the plant needs human blood to live, all the while crying, "Feed me! FEED ME!" Luckily, Seymour causes a series of inadvertent deaths that more than make up for the food shortage. Jack Nicholson provides a comic sidebar as a nutjob masochist visiting a dentist's office. Giggling and wild-eyed from the same impulse that might lead others to read scandal sheets, he can be seen in the dentist's waiting room reading aloud from Pain magazine. Famous for having the shortest shooting schedule on record (two days and a night), The Little Shop of Horrors spawned an off-Broadway musical that was in turn made into a successful film in 1986, starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin. It was in just this quick-shoot atmosphere that Corman nurtured the careers of many of America's most celebrated film directors; this little shop of honors included Francis Ford Coppola, Peter Bogdanovich, Martin Scorsese, and Jonathan Demme. The DVD has optional Japanese subtitles, very generous bios of the stars and filmmakers, and a clean, crisp transfer. --Jim Gay
